This was done a few days ago as I sat indoors on midsummer’s day. We have had an awful amount of rain recently. Evidently its due to the position of the jet stream pushing weather patterns further south. I know better. Its due to the government trying to make us save money by forcing us to stay indoors on wet days. Doesn’t work. We just NEED to get out, to the shopping malls, for some retail therapy.

We had over 2.5″ of rain here, yesterday. It continued to pour during the night but began to clear up around midday. So much for the longest day of the year - the height of summer.
This was the 13th green (how appropriate) at my local golf course this afternoon. The main hazard is usually the huge tree on the left. Now there is a lake surrounding the green. Come to think about it this makes the hole interesting but how to get onto the green might be a problem. Only an idiot would try to play the course, in this condition, after all this rain. Yes! You guessed it!

Beneath the fungi’s costate canopy she thinks of a dryer-warmed blanket and a cop of broth as bones shiver. Adventure’s remourse settles in. And she waits for a break in the weather before nightfall.
