dream :
i’m landing in japan at haneda airport. i’m taking the wrong lane. every one avoid me and i’m saying to my self : “they are so nice, they should have horn me but they don’t”
I show to Maud (a friend’s daughter i met yesterday) an old phonograph, she wonders how it works.
i tell her it’s thanks to a little glass needle in which a diamond has been inserted.
i hand-turn the disc to initiate the rotation and the sound coming out is the voice of the lady who does the announcements at the SNCF (French rail company)

it’s a joy to have made this drawing! i enjoyed it a lot! it prove to my self i’m still able to draw in big formats!

Rene Fijten told me he was kept in this town (dammartin) 15 years ago because of a truck driver’s strike (it happens so often in france) and people gave him water while he was immobilized in his car in the middle of the little town.
it’s funny because i live at 5 km from this town!

Riviera
Some day by the past i saw a drawing challenge named : “draw the first thing you see when you wake up”
here it is!!!

i explore this plant and noticed the singular disposition of the flowers…

Petite Rose.
This is the name of a small bakery in paris, held by very friendly japanese women, especially when I told them “thank you, it’s very good” in Japanese. (Arigato gozaimashita. Totemo oichii)

The man in yellow, with the cat, is copied from a gay Japanese comics.
I find the drawing very funny.
It is a pity that I do not read Japanese better.
