looking out at the playground where I teach. It’s been really cold this month, and I’m not a big fan of cold. The snow is worn away by the slide, as the kids sled down it with pieces of cardboard.

http://youtu.be/1HOxaJxlVFw (Watch the video while I was sketching the volcano.) Amazing… we are staying in Mascali, Sicily, Italy and were woken up to the sound of people shouting. Our host was telling me to get my sketchbook and start drawing Mount Etna, as it was erupting. Definitely a memory I will never forget.
