2011Jul 7tags: arty velarde | eraser carving | lydia velarde | stamps | watercolor moleskineA few years ago I met 2 strangers on the internet. One of them was Stephen Sloan who is an artist, book binder, street performer and an eraser carver. He has inspired me in so many ways. I finally tried my own stamp carvings when making a gift for a friend. This is a “test page” testing 4 stamps of crows I made during the last week. It’s getting easier with the right tools and lots of practice. Oh, the other stranger I met was Rachel Kopel my art buddy, book maker and mail artist. Thanks guys!!
