I added a couple silhouettes on the rock to show scale. It sits out in the lake a bit and kids like to climb up and then jump off into the water. There are lots of tree stumps and other boulders strewn along the shore. It’s a man-made lake but heavily used in the summer for swimming, canoeing and fishing. Lots of fun! -

This is quite a hidden gem in Las Vegas area, I was surprise to see a man-made lake in the middle of the desert. You can see quite a lot of greenery, birds, ducks, and geese in the area.. Once I sat down on the grass, all the ducks and birds were walking up to me…Thinking I have something to eat which I do not have anything.. Poor guys, I should’ve brought something to feed.. I am such an animal lover and I feel really bad for them.. They were even quacking at me for food, which is cute!
