Still working with the duff finger, still drawing the Doctor. This was where I returned to the Dr.’s universe. Chris Eccleston started a great run on the new series.
There Will Be Ood
Mick Statham’s tour of the Doctor’s got me thinking about how much I enjoy the show (I’m a relatively recent convert…catching what I can on PBS and BBC America for a few years now) and I really like the look of the Ood, so I decided to sketch one. My scanner seems to lose the low grey tones and lighter shades, but the idea is still there. The title came from a picture I found on the internet while I was searching for a reference.
As christmas is fast approaching all thought’s turn to the traditional things that we all know and love. Turkey, gifts, family, the sound of music and the Queens speech. Or in my case the Dr Who Christmas special. And to mark such an awesome occasion here is the first of the Doctors, William Hartnell, who was the Dr. from 1963 to 1966. More coming…
