    I think I have the answer but want to be sure. I have been trying to use watercolor on Moleskine artist with smooth paper, the paint does not go on easily. do I need a watercolor version, after about a dozen Moleskines I did not realize they made one????

    Yep they make a watercolour version.The normal ones tend to let the paint just sit on the surface unless you scrub it in which defeats the object with watercolour.I have had a bit of success using watercolour pencils and then putting on water.

    ya i noticed that too. Also if you put too much water it messes up the paper, but if you get it right it works fine i think.
