Cup of Wine
Just playing around with a few ideas.
Summer Wine
Inspired by the song (heard on the radio driving through the Red Wood trees of Northern California) and the pleasant taste of fruit wine enjoyed on a warm evening.
From Blackwing to Kuretake pens. This wine was really delicious, especially because was shared with a good friend. Also my reading (online) and memo list.
Pomegranate Wine
A page that grew out of a quiet evening at home with my partner and Dr. Who, enjoying some regional wine.
Pear Wine in the Evening
Another page that sprang up in the quiet of the evening and that fits the theme challenge this month.
Vineyard tasting. With the wine harvest season coming up in this part of the world, grape picking and wine tasting holidays are being promoted in the media accompanied by “tasty” pictures. One of them in particular caught my eye and I used it for a watercolour sketch.
I have no drawing experience whatsoever – in fact, I hated art class at school. However, I have a watercolour moleskine which has been lying around, so whilst enjoying a small night-cap of port, I decided to draw it. Needless to say, it’s bollocks, but I’m learning, albeit very slowly. This was just done with a 0.5 Artline felt tip, and two HB pencils (one red, one graphite). Hope to foster some talent so I can post something a little bit better, but it makes me feel good to have something up anyway. Cheers!
