latest updates: truck
Big truck in my neighborhood. We have heavy machinery everywhere, probably, cleaning, fixing, restoring, working on temporary generators. Interesting that Verizon still can’t restore phone lines in our neighborhood and beyond (more than a month passed). Aftermath Sandy. Optimum Cable came the next day I called them after we got temporary generators. Ink and Kuretake.
Red truck on the roadside.
This red truck belongs to the building inspector of Greene county. I saw how much it is loved and cared by his owner. I used ink and Kuretake pens.
Orange truck. Ever since I met this trucks on mountain roads they impressed me with their happy sunny colors and muscular shapes, and when you hear their aggressive roaring it brings feeling that now it will be ok, problem fixed, safety restored, life will be better, somebody cares. Interesting that even drivers of this trucks look so enormously tall and manly, at list few I talked to after the Hurricane Irene damages.
I used ink and Kuretake pens.
This is a drawing I did of my friends restored Ford. He tubbed it out and put Mickey Thompson tires on the back. Beautiful truck, I wish I had photos of it… must email him.
Drawn with Rapidograph technical pens.
This is my good ol’ 1983 Chevy truck. I bought it at an auction from University of Texas Southwest Medical Center in Dallas. After years of custodial service, it’s been put out to pasture with me!
