The Hiding Troll, who evolved out of my artistic OCD when my marker bled through the pages I wanted to cover it over and so wherever the marker bled through I used that as a guide on where I this little guy evolved. No markers used on him, I think i’ll retire the marker in this sketchbook.
My lonely troll is the fisrt sketch breaking in my new Moleskine Sketchbook. the Troll is my nod to the wonderful illustrator Rien Poortvliet. I use light pencil layout, Micron pigment liners and a Prismacolor marker for a little shadow pop. (which of course bleed through the pages – ugh).
