Oberon Ale
One of my favorite beers, Oberon Ale is only available in the summer (and sometimes into the fall) and is not distributed where I live. If I get the opportunity when I visit home (Michigan) I pick some up and bring it back to enjoy.

Summer Impressions (Same motif in different technique)
Another entry for the August 2012 theme challenge, this time revisiting the April 2012 theme challenge.
Deep Blue Summer
A page in gel ink and prismacolor marker. In this case, the marker is intense enough for my scanner to pick up most of it.
Summer – Watercolour
Another entry for this month’s Challenge. Its a scene from last year and, hopefully, this will be repeated in the months to come – if the rain ever stops.
Thanks to greyseal for reminding me that watercolour still exists
Summer Wine
Inspired by the song (heard on the radio driving through the Red Wood trees of Northern California) and the pleasant taste of fruit wine enjoyed on a warm evening.
First Breath of Summer
Although it is quite early in the season for warm weather (compared to most of the years of my life before the last few), there are lots of hot days and a good deal of warm sunshine to be had here in Morgantown.
Summer(?) – Ink
For this month’s Challenge
Summer time I(when daylight saving time changes are made) started on March 25th this year. The following week saw record temperatures for this month accompanied by loads of sunshine. Doctor’s surgeries and emergency rooms were filled with overeager gardeners suffering from teisted backs and other accidents as lawns were cut and plants planted. We have a saying, here, when anyone mentions good weather. The standard reply is, “Aye, but we’ll pay for it”. We paid for it! On Monday the country had up to 10” of snow blown about into blizzards on a freezing north-easterly wind. That’ll teach us. Fortunately the stuff didn’t lie. We are now back to more normal Easter weather. Summer was on a Wednesday here (the day of highest temperatures).
