Cybele’s Cauldron Bubbles in the Blue Veil of the Night
Another page in the ‘sleepless’ moleskine; this one about some of the mysteries that linger on in the hours after midnight.
Jasmine Tea Keeps Me Company in the Watches of the Night
My sister surprised me with a gift of a tea pot that is half transparent and very cute (it came with loose tea tied in such a way that it blossoms into a flower when hot water is poured over it). I couldn’t resist trying it out this evening and I enjoyed the delicate jasmine tea in a mug my husband and I picked up at a bed and breakfast in Julian, California.

Another entry in the ‘sleepless’ moleskine. Done in graphite and colored pencil.
I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead

This is the front cover of my ‘sleepless’ sketchbook. I liked the composition of the page posted yesterday so much that I decided to recreate it intentionally and then combine those shapes with some of my favorite patterns.
Information Page
I’m continuing to work on my ‘sleepless’ sketchbook. Like all of my sketchbooks, I started it on the last page and the content grows as I work my way forward. Since this sketchbook is intended to be part of a traveling exhibit, I thought a page on explanation couldn’t hurt.
