Rose garden [My moleskine art]
I stamped an eraser stamp on the moleskine sketchbook. I wondered what to draw. I draw roses on this.
I started with a free-hand circle and some lines inside, then just let the rest happen.
Usually, I sketch with graphite pencil, ink and then color. On these sketches I tried inking as the last stage of my painting. Both are painted with watercolor
Right one was done first (I’m a leftie :p) and inked with a sepia brush pen.
Left one (which I’m much fond of) was outilined with a black colored pencil. I’m trying to get that same effect with ink. No luck as of yet, but I’m hopeful.
Three Tweet Rose Tree. Micron pens, Prismacolor markers, Spectracolor and Ticonderoga colored pencils
