I’m not finished… I have so much more to give.
The feeling of “this is all I am and all I’ll ever be”
I just started scribbling in my moleskine sketchbook and it kept evolving.
Mechanical pencil and acrylic paint was used.

To encourage my cousin to keep drawing to help her out of her depression, I drew as well… after so many years… Used pencil, ink and watercolor pencils
This was a quick sketch as I was falling asleep the other night. It’s based on a doodle I drew a few times last semester and I wanted a more permanent version of it. (Somehow the margin of my sociology notes didn’t qualify). I didn’t think too deeply into the details of the symbolism, but it just shows that life goes on, even if it takes a completely new form.
It was also a chance to try out my first brush pen and wow I love it! I added a touch of watercolor the next day.
Tree Roots: the background was created with watercolor then a PITT brush pen over the design of the background to create the tree. Day 151 of the “365 Days of Art” (Follow here: http://pencilshavings.typepad.com/pencil_shavings/365-days-of-art/)
I had a specific something I was going to draw when I started this. But I forgot what that was pretty quickly, so I just kept adding bits till it looked done.
