What’s another harmless lie between friends?

This are two pages of my what I call my “home journal”. It’s all about home. About the place where I live, a white house in the country. In this journal I write, draw and collage about the changing seasons, about my house, my family, my pets, about the forest and the animals that live in it.
The first page is about a rainy day in summer and the way things smell after the rain. The other one is a drawing I made in a windy night (“Outside the wind blows” are the worlds under the lavender flowers)
Craziness!
So I got this new, odd sized moleskine the other day. Came in packs of three. I had to try it out. Seems to work alright.
Notebook haiku.
“The rustle of rain here.
Breat in and forget the world…
To live here, now”.
Watercolor, pencils, moleskine
Notebook haiku. In Lithuanian and English.
“Goes down the rain,
While thoughtful koi
Remains serene and calm…”
Sketchbook moleskine, watercolor, ink, white crayon.
Me at the bus stop. I’m trying to tell everyone it’s about to rain….no one’s paying attention.
Note – I was drawing this at a pub in Highbury and Islington (the Hen & Chickens) and while nipping out for a cigarette, somone wrote the words “Highbury & Islington” and “Selina’s Bus” on my drawing – the nerve!
