Trip to the dentist. Traveling, soaking in the rain, experiencing headache and joy, laughing, eating tomato soup with fennel in the car, playing with pitt pens, living today, almost last day of March.

Lots of heavy rain has caused much damage, particularly in the Lake District of England and the South West of Scotland. Thank goodness flood levels are subsiding – just in time for the first hard frosts. Our village, here on the east side of the country, has not entirely escaped the wet stuff. This was the scene, a couple of days ago, on one of the main roads out of our village. Only the biggest and bravest could cope with the flooded roads. Some smaller cars tried and had to be recovered by the emergency services. All we could do was to stay put with plenty of food and drink. Armageddon’s really not all that bad.
I was in a cafe, trying to keep out of the rain, and started sketching my umbrella. I got home and then the rest of the drawing sort of just happened.
The rainy days on Autumn
Recently, Tokyo has continued on a rainy day.
In Japanese, the autumnal rain called “秋雨:aki-same”.
Aki means autumn. Same means rain.
On autumn, People seem to enjoy the rain.
