‘Mushrooms’
Pen & Ink
We have a visiting artist at school who does altered books. She makes these little poems out of the words in a double page spread of a book, and draws on the rest of the pages to go with the poem. We have to do a couple of pages for a partial project, and I got a page in which I made a sentence that reads “Talk like the mushroom prince for sheep have got to grow between flowers”. In my planning for the drawing, I drew the mushroom to the left, except with a crown, and thought ‘It might be funny to have it be yelling at something’. And this is what I came up with. Hope you guys like it =P

Another flower. I intended to do all the petals in color, but I liked the way this looked, so I left it like that. Prismacolor and crayola markers.
Back Cover
Some designs that have popped up on the back cover of my pocket cahier molie from stray marks and my imagination.
