Paintings & Charcoal Drawings:
Self portrait in the middle of an influenza outbreak. Pencil, watercolour.
I didn’t finish this drawing the way I wanted because I started it like a way to face the situation with calm, doing what I always do, but today the World Health Organization raised the pandemic alert from phase 4 to 5 (out of six). Then, it seemed that this drawing wasn’t a very good idea anymore.
drawn in pencil and painted with gouache on moleskine watercolor paper.
Portrait play on a series about business leaders. Watercolor on a pocket Moleskine Sketchbook. These are very unfriendly to watercolors (that’s why there’s a Moleskine Watercolour version), but after adding layers of paint, the effect is quite interesting and I like it (Moleskine sketchbook paper) as its own surface.
