People in Positive and Negative Space
I was playing around with a magazine advertisement the other day and decided to try my hand at a chain of people. The result ended up glued in my moleskine, but I liked the negative space shapes as well, so I added them (with a little bit of compression in order to fit) on the facing page. Finally, I ended up with the shapes from between the people, which turned into a collage on the following page.
