November Theme Challenge! The contents of a trashcan
A quick sketch of the tuilleries outside of the Louvre in Paris. When i was there i did lots of drawing and heres one of them. Also going on a whitewater wilderness canoe trip in Quebec for three weeks, and hopefully ill get some drawing done then too.
Waiting for another plane in Melbourne. People just waiting, bored, yet with a self-important “in-transit” attitude.

I’m getting better at drawing faces, even if I did draw the mouth of the woman on the right too deep, making her look a bit like Jack Nicholson’s Joker. Sorry, ma’am, but a few months ago you would have looked more like a “Simpsons” character. Trust me, this is better.

Here in Birmingham, AL, this witless gentleman dropped his cellphone while driving and bent over to pick it up out of the floorboard and rear-ended my mother. He had a driver’s license but no insurance, and come to find out the car was stolen. My mother took a picture of him and a picture of his DL just in case, and his expression has fascinated me ever since. The evening I drew this was the evening of the McCain vs. Obama debate here in the States, and the only person that came out on top was Joe Plumber. I didn’t get the guy who hit my mom’s name, but Joe Plumber seemed to fit, and is the title of this picture.
