The first pages of my first Moleskine, back in 2006. I didn’t want to get a horrible drawing for the 1st page, so I used an ordinary white paper and pencil and stuck it to the Moleskine. Some pencil and black marker for the rest and that’s all. “Pop” is the catalan word for “octopus”.

This was a tin-fireplace designed by my late father in his village cottage which was raised to the ground during Bosnian war. Unlike me, he was a professional painter and designed the cottage and the fireplace all by himself. Some mechanical engineers doubted his method of desuign, but it wirked perfectly well. He had to redesign the mantelpiece because original one was much too open and therefore wood consumption far from economically viable. He added fireproof bricks (As seen in the sketch). Behind it there was a wall made from thin stone blocks. The cottage was made of wooden logs and I just might try to sketch that as well. If I do, I promiss to post it.
