Sketch inspired by a real photo and by the Thoreau’s phrase:
Most men lead lives of quiet desperation. (H. D. Thoreau)
Pencil and Sephia in computer.

First drawing in my newest Moley sketchbook. I had ordered some Staedtler and Cretacolor pencils from Dick Blick and they work very well with the Moley paper.
Baltimore Finn, Private Eye – The last page in my notebook. I figured since I started the book out with an owl, I would end with one.

Another old treasure – propelling pencil from Japan. It has interesting back of the pencil, comes off with upside down eraser, locking compartment with extra leads, 1.18mm size. Matte finish helps to hold non slippery pencil comfortably while drawing.
Show me those teeth! Faber Castell 9000 2B in large cahier. Really really impressed with the FC9000.
Train sketches in my faithful Moleskine. I had a nightmare, that left home without Moleskine, going somewhere… still in shock.
