Outer Space Tapestry
Just a collage/mosaic page that grew out of an advertisement for the American Physical Society.
Well, it needed a while to finish my May Challenge submission but the concept behind it demanded to wait until end of May to collect the headlines. Unfortunately the metallic effect is not replicable but RGB can’t do everything.
A ballpoint and colored pencil doodle. A house on the moon would need a climate and vegetation, right?
May theme challenge was just that! The only thing that struck me is that My Son …..is My Moon… So that is my interpretation… All pencil sketch in my moleskine. I used a regular number two pencil and a water based varnish 3h pencil..
Outer Space
I was out at the pub with a few friends and, while we were waiting for some other folks to show up, I challenged myself to sketch something for the theme challenge. This page is the result. Done with gel ink in a pocket cahier.
Another self portrait I feel would be an interesting entry into the May 2011 challenge. this is mixed media on 18″x24″ paper
