2011Jun 8tags: arrow points | dacite | gunther style | obsidian | OregonThese are the Gunther styles of arrow points I collect. The top one is made of dacite. The bottom one is obsidian (volcanic glass). Both are from the the Pacific NW United States. I was happy with the way the dacite point had less sheen to it than the glass point. These points are typically less than an inch long, but what they lack in size they more than make up for in point and razor sharpness. These are estimated at 300 to 700 years old. Done mostly in Sharpie and Pilot pens with red marker.
