Autumn Moon
A waxing autumn moon, drifting over the wind-tossed trees of a chill and perfect autumn night.

Night and Day
A little page that sprang up in my pocket molie while I was commiserating with friends a few nights ago.
Tallulah
A painting for a friend of mine who is a bit of a diva. Tallulah is her alter-ego.
Feel a bit cheeky doing this but…
I have just launched an Etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/amystace to sell some prints and drawings. Please would you take a look? I would love to get some feedback and/or ideas from fellow creative folk.
Shadow of the Moon
Another submission for June’s Theme Challenge. Inspiration struck during a seminar, but I had to wait until I got home in the evening to finish it.
Shadows in the Sand
This month’s theme challenge is particularly intriguing for me; so many possibilities and impressions and ideas…I can’t wait to see what other people come up with!
Moonlight Dreams
I ordered something from a clothing/outfitting company and the logo on their packaging became the beginning of this page.
Brick Lane, book illustration, pastels. This is part of a project I did a while ago, read the book Brick Lane and had to choose 2 scenarios to illustrate. This is the midnight snack. Check out more on my blog: http://www.ingridsink.blogspot.com
Because the Night
The back cover of my ‘sleepless’ molie; I’ve had these lyrics stuck in my head for the past several days. In 1978 Patti Smith recorded a song called ‘Because the Night.’ The song was written and recorded originally by Bruce Springsteen but he didn’t include it on ‘Darkness on the Edge of Town,’ the album he was working on at the time (in the studio next door to where Patti Smith was recording, which is how she was introduced to it). Springtseen just released an album of some of his ‘lost’ work from the Darkness sessions and I’ve had it stuck in my head since I heard it yesterday. It seemed like a fitting last note to my ‘sleepless’ journey.
