Moon Shadows
Another page in the ‘Uncharted Waters’ sketchbook. I feel like I’m being overly judgmental with myself on this one, afraid to put something in it that’s ‘no good’ or ‘not good enough.’ I’ve been trying to remind myself to get out of my own way and just go with the flow.

Bad Moon Rising
I was in a bad space a few days ago and so I let myself free-write all the little thoughts that were keeping me awake. Once I had that out of my system, I decided to see what I could do to turn all the negativity into something beautiful. First came the spirals, covering everything, but I wasn’t sure where to go from there. Then today I struck on the idea of adding the collage and the blue moonbeams over everything; and that’s how the page worked itself out.
