A page in micron ink inspired by the interplay of waking hours and the balance between light and dark.
Kuretake ink pens include– ZIG millennium Ink pens… ZIG painty fx (Xylene free) paint pens… and ZIG wink of stella, the rest— ,Deco color paint pens = they are nice…but smelly full of Xylene , Elmers painters – paint pens, Sharpy oil paint pens ,Gelly rolls, moon light and normal , Pilot metallic silver paint pen, Pilot g-tec-c4 gel pen, Pentel slicci metallic gel pen, acrylic paints, on a mini moleskine … this was under a flash…. but it did catch some of the metallic effects nicely …. and the story——–This is the same family of rare Japanese turtle ducks, featured on my previous upload…they are another wave…. in the distance….. this time you meet some other family members… ,while inside their living, growing, home, on a hill top overlooking their favorite beach…….Inside there house, one turtle duck is bathing in warm water…but keep on mind…, what you see is merely the entrance and that’s just a guest bath…. most of the house, including living room, kitchen, library, showers, ect… are all for the most part located…just above, the page…. and behind the leaves… aka….on the . ..next (unfinished) page… so…..its…. to be continued ….

The back cover of my Uncharted Waters sketchbook. I did the silver patterns a while ago, but the bits of antique maps (reproductions, of course) added the final touch.
Long Night’s Moon
The full moon adjoining the winter solstice is sometimes called the long night’s moon; this page is inspired by that idea and the point of the year where we’re halfway out of the dark (at least north of the equator, that is).
