  Cover of my book for The Sketchbook Project 2011

  My theme was ‘Facing Forward’. Most of my images were drawings of mug shots recreated from this amazing book.

  Lewis Powell was a part of the conspiracy to assassinate President Abraham Lincoln and all of his possible sucessors. Powell was assigned the task of killing Secretary of State, William Seward. Powell was executed with three other co-conspirators on July 7, 1865.

  ‘Bliss in Ulysses’

  First sketch of the year on my first sketchbook of the year, Ms. Molly.
  A New Year… A New Sketchbook

  Ideas, I mean good ideas, please start flowing to my brain;

  Ulysses by the way is my favorite butterfly specie; ocean blue colored and just so darn pretty-ful when reflecting under sunlight.

  Done with an old retractable Pilot ball pen I found on my sister’s desk.

  I hope it adds a little bliss to your day too.
