2011May 20tags: Celtangle | doodle | ink | moleskine sketchbook | Pen | zentangleOr should this be called a ‘Celtangle’? Intrigued by Celtic knot work, I thought I’d base my next zentangle on the familiar ‘Triquetra’ or ‘Trinity’ knot. This one didn’t go at all like planned but I persevered and I’m fairly happy with the end result. I really would like to play a bit more with this form though, so don’t be surprised if I post a few more ‘Celtangles’ in future

2009May 25tags: journalingarts | moleskine sketchbook | pop-up | typographyAnother letter in my Moleskine Sketchbook. This pop-up letter “V” was inspired by the symmetrical quality of the book and pages. The large “V” was created by folding the bottom corners of 2 pages in to the middle and pasting them together. V-shaped flowers in different fonts were attached to the inside of the “V”. which was glued to the adjoining pages so it pops up when the pages are opened. http://www.journalingarts.wordpress.com.
