Model Ship
I had some time on my hands and this model ship was nearby, so I took the opportunity to sketch it.
Figure drawing session of a Burlesque Performer dressing up like one of those sticker of a Chiquita lady you see on a Banana. It was my first time doing a figure drawing session in a long time until I found out about Dr. Sketchy’s in a newspaper.
I really would suggest to take a time to attend to one of their sessions.. It was interesting and quiet a twist to do figure drawings.. Its free to attend and my next session will be a Contortionist model..
For more information about Dr. Sketchy’s, check out here http://www.drsketchy.com/ Also, they have different locations all over the world.. Even in UK for some of you fellow British friends. =)
Sketch based on a Gucci ad in Vogue UK.
(Sorry to the admin for my noobiness. I think I messed the last upload up.) xxx
It’s a little later than I thought it would be because I had to mail order a new moleskine, seeing as the nearest bookstores had no stock of the sketchbook variety. However, I now have a new moleskine for the sole purpose of practicing drawing. I’m a little nervous about what responses my work might get since I have no experience and negligible practice to my name. Hopefully the art will get better in time. Until then, here is what I’ve been up to.
The abstract swirl is Prismacolor pencils over HB pencil (erased)… done while having a girls’ night talk… the girl was just an conceptual model I drew to get my thoughts on a photoshoot I was preparing for out… it’s done with #2 pencil and crayola colored pencils
