A page of fluid cascades in several colors.
Just playing around with my micron pens and seeing what different sort of spaces I could fill with simple spirals and swirls.
I wandered into an art supply store not too far from where I grew up and ended up picking up a few micron pens in a larger diameter than what came in my box set. I was excited to try them out, so I sat in the car doodling on the back of the receipt and this is what happened. It might end up more complete when I have a little time to fill the rest of the page around the paper pasted in, but it’s kind of fun just the way it is.
A final page from quiet, peaceful evening; this one all in blue and also just meandering to wherever the ink wanted to go.
That same quiet evening from the last post, this time a page of purple ink. Once it was done it reminded me of a sunrise peaking into the mouth of a cave, perhaps on a cold winter morning, just after the solstice.
