Abstract page in red and orange celebrating the first day of summer.
Tangles with a Border
I ended up with this border in a my molie a while ago (from the corner of a page filled during a seminar) and it’s had a lonely blank page underneath it for a while. Well, now with some zzentangling, the page is alive.
A page that grew from a desire to practice zentangling and an experiment in doing it inside a pre-defined shape.
Nikira posted a video about zentangling a while ago and it got me thinking about how I haven’t done that in a very long time. I started with a molie page painted with acrylic paint and just let patterns grow with my micron pen.
It’s gotten cold here again (always seems to do that, warm up for a bit and then get down to freezing for a while), so the trees are still looking dormant and full of winter. This page just grew around that idea a few nights ago.
