Torch! – various markers
latest updates: marker
Drawing done at the request of good friend Igor Pio – brother of college times!
outside, mountain mist so thick you need to cut it with a knife to reveal the water beneath;
inside, the gentle aroma of oolong tea leaves stewing in the pot; the sizzle of the fire heating up the kettle; and the rise and fall of soft voices in lazy conversation, a blend of Japanese and Taiwanese and Mandarin. We dallied until dusk.
This is a view from the square by the “Castillo de San Salvador de La Punta” at Havana/Cuba – beautiful place.
I used ink and markers of two different gray shades.
A friend recently bought some prismacolor markers and let me play around with them. I love the way they flow onto the page.
Inside Front Cover
The completed work inside the front cover of my Uncharted Waters sketchbook; with this done, the only thing left to complete are the outside covers.
