Today I was so lucky to see Federico Aubele live concert, amazing Argentinian singer, songwriter, musician. I fell in love with his music few years ago, I heard him somewhere online. I listen to him often while drawing or driving, I made Pandora radio station with his songs.
Today I sketched and listen and at the end asked him to sign my sketch, how cool is that! He liked my drawing. Wow! I am gonna do drawing in ink based on my sketches of him today. Here used Blackwing 602 (love this pencil) in Moleskine. -

In Slavonski Brod (Croatia) there is true love story going on. Malena (little one) and Kapetan (captain) are in love for 9 years and have raised over 40 chicks. It wouldn’t be much of a story, but Malena broke her wing nearly 20 years ago and couldn’t fly back to Africa ever since. Nine years ago she fell in love with Kapetan and they spend about 4-5 months together laying eggs and raising chicks. When the time comes his alarm clock tells him “it’s time to migrate south”, but he knows she couldn’t follow. This year it was very painful. He took off and returned to kiss her. His baddies nervously waited for him to go so he took off again. After awhile he came back. And that was repeated three times before he finally left. Last time it was very painful as he was overly hesitant to leave Malena alone.
Now she is so sad, she doesn’t eat nor she gets into the nest. Mr Stjepan Vokić (the owner of the house where they have their nest) says it will probably take another 10 days before she is ready to face life. Then she will go fishing with Stjepan in the canals nearby…Fabriano Artistico 140 lb rough 5×7″, Talens Rembrandt w/c…
