Going back and forth to Long Island I was stopped by the flaming skies, it is near fire station. I am looking at the sky more than ever before, amazed by humongous symphony someone is playing every day for us, people. It changes quickly, leaving trembling melody in my heart. So I was trying to capture the moment. Used ink and Kuretake brush pens.

2011Jan 14tags: cake | ink | Ira | Long Island | MarikaHere is Marika, she speaks Hungarian and she is very sweet person. She works in the house where I touched up mural recently. She made me nice coffee and brought this wonderful cake. I mention in the other post that while working downstairs she was singing opera arias, it was pretty amazing. And about this cake, it may not look that special, but the taste was mind blowing, some tiny pieces of nuts and thin layer of coffee cream, and topped with coconut. I used one ink in Moleskine A4.
