In small plain notebook. Beginning to realise I should be using Moleskine sketchbooks rather than notebooks. The previous drawings show through the paper so I’m having to insert grey paper behind for the scans. Feel free to advise me which Moleskines you like best for working in. I’m new to the books. Love them though!!!!
latest updates: line
My new years resolution is going to be to do some kind of sketch, drawing or doodle in my moleskine every day. This is the first. Drawn from a photo in a magazine it’s a pencil line drawing.
“Dissoultion”-2nd half of double page spread. 00 Rapidograph, Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bombay India Ink. White Acrylic Paint.
My continued quest for a great, simple, cat drawing. Also my submission for my 365 Days of Art (you can follow here: http://pencilshavings.typepad.com/pencil_shavings/365-days-of-art/)
End of the Line
My (rather literal) interpretation of this month’s Theme Challenge. It sort of makes me wonder: where did the line start (or is this the beginning end of it)? Where has it been? What stories does it have to tell? Is it a string? A piece of yarn? A snarl of fishing line? So many possibilities, just laying there.
