tags: brush pen | heart | life | roots | treeThis was a quick sketch as I was falling asleep the other night. It’s based on a doodle I drew a few times last semester and I wanted a more permanent version of it. (Somehow the margin of my sociology notes didn’t qualify). I didn’t think too deeply into the details of the symbolism, but it just shows that life goes on, even if it takes a completely new form.
It was also a chance to try out my first brush pen and wow I love it! I added a touch of watercolor the next day.

tags: colored pencil | lifeI study design in Munich. There are some characters there!! I love to draw the people who are giving lectures, because you have so much time to observe them. This piece was drawn with colored pencils in my A5 Moleskine.

tags: life | pencil | sketch | stillThere’s nothing more rewarding than drawing people and everything from life (but especially people!!). It strenghtens your observational skills and your “eye” for the specialities life has to offer. Do this as often as you can. You also train your visual library!
