They opened their own store to make the same healthy food at a cheaper price for all of us to enjoyed without spending more than $20 at an actual steakhouse.

Drew and coloured over two weeks.
Originally I had a scholar sitting there, but I just couldn’t finish him so I painted around him and just finally erased him.
It looks like Fuji, but it could just be Mt. Taranaki. Pass the chups.
Materials: Watercolor moleskine, Raphael 830, W&N mixed with Sennelier greens and golds

New tattooed girl for the collection… This is all thanks to the model she chose the theme of the tattoo, a kitsune a fox in Japanese folklore that grows new tails increasing its mystical powers, this one has 9 the maximum. Other elements in the theme are the fire (related to the fox), a lotus flower and a “mari” ball.
Made with PITT, Tombo and Copic pens and finished with a wrapping paper collage

tags: japanese | kirbysart | Red Crowned CraneTo start my new 5.5″ x 3.5″ Moleskine Sketchbook I did an illustration type drawing. I reloaded the paper in it with Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper. I didn’t hav enough to make a full book so I put in some stonehenge paper for use with colored pencils which should be fun.
This is a Red Crowned Crane and are popular in Japan during the winter. After rebinding the sketchbook I noticed the first page had the Fabriano watermark so a colored it in and later put in this Japanese Red Crowned Crane
