Best gyro in Brooklyn in turkish restaurant Sahara. But lentil soup I make better. I relay on recipe from Nigella Lawson, british food writer, she wrote for NY Times as a gourmet critic, from her amazing book “How to eat”. Seems I can’t get enough of my antique pencil, add red with Pentel marker.

Another corner of Brooklyn, didn’t even notice the name of the street. Used my antique pencil again, I really like that it is so stiff and angular, you have to convince it and prize like a cat, till it agreed to listen to you. Add few touches of red from my vintage watercolor and white for the sky.

Brooklyn street scene and my list in pencil, antique pencil from 1900-1920, called propelled, as Bob told me. Interesting, that one of the leads crumbles right away, so old, the other is pretty hard and draws angular. I liked it. I ordered more leads.

Chuckie was named by my daughter when she was 7 after the Chuckie from “Rugrats”, red haired funny character from cartoon. He was my first cat, before I thought that I am a dog person. He used to ride in my daughter’s doll baby carriage, sometimes wearing white hat with the frills, sometimes deliberately jump into the stroller and roll till it stops, hitting the wall. Now he is a patriarch of the family and often get tossed around by Fellini, younger generation.

Inna in ink. This is the last page of my Moleskine large. Very sad. Really liked it Watercolor paper. It started with “Chinese bakery” on October 30, 09. Anyway I used ink (mixed myself) and played a little with Axe-cut strokes in the hair, holding brush angular, Pentel water brush is the best.
