Flourish
A fanciful abstract page in blue micron ink.
Here Comes The Sun
A page in gel ink and prismacolor marker. The marker shows up nicely in person, but my scanner refuses to pick it up from this page.
The Old Ways
My partner is getting back into exploring his artistic side and asked me to write something poetic for him to sketch from spontaneously; this is the first attempt at the idea.
Bread. Ink and Kuretake. Bread from the corner store, we get it early in the morning freshly baked and hot.
Musician Alex. It was pretty surprising to hear my childhood songs highlighted by saxophone, while I was drawing trees and brunches for old people. My father use to collect songs, so I heard many from old times and they dear to my heart.
I outlined the figure of musician and the rest dissolved into the light. I used ink and gold watercolor for saxophone, it doesn’t scan well.
