Another Failed Beatle:
As the only Mormon in the group, Mickey’s charm and good looks made him a favorite with the other Beatles. His good-natured toe tapping and whistling were legendary in the 60s music scene and added a real depth to the group’s early sound. After his breakout performance in the opening credits of the Andy Griffith show, his star burned “brighter than a comet,” so said band manager, Brian Epstein, who was suspected of being deeply in love with the charismatic Mickey. Sadly, the young missionary couldn’t embrace the famous haircut. Also the other Beatles weren’t crazy about the LDS church as he’d thought, they were crazy about LSD.

I understand if it isn’t posted..
