Colored with the gimp, I preferred hand coloring but it is a good exercise as anyway the moleskine sketch book does not take well the ink of my markers. -
2011Oct 12tags: hydroquinone | moleskine | shoe designHi,
I have not been able to post for long as I was an itensive shoemaking obsession for the last month and a half, well I drawn stuff, mainly shoes of course and if you like to see the pair I made you can give a go to my blog http://alex-moreau.blogspot.com/

2011Sep 2tags: Design | hydroquinone | leather | Markers | moleskine coverHi!
Here the sketch I made before to make a leather moleskine cover, you can have a look at the finish product here http://alex-moreau.blogspot.com/2011/09/moleskine-leather-cover.html
The cover is for a moleskine skecthbook and for information the paper absolutely does not work with markers like copic, AD and others, the plain moleskine with the thin paper is kind of working. Cheers.

2011Aug 6tags: bags | digital rendering | hydroquinone | leather goods | moleskine | the gimpHere is a first attempt to render a doodle from my sketchbook entirely into gimp, I had already experienced some mixed renders analog/digital to achieve result like this http://alex-moreau.blogspot.com/2011/08/phone-case.html and I think that is also an interesting way to work but if you really don’t have time it is really a time saver to render right away in the digital way.
You will find on my blog the original version http://alex-moreau.blogspot.com/2011/08/1st-rendering-test-with-gimp.html
