Bunny
Just a page off silliness that came from a quiet Sunday afternoon out in the woods.
Wandering Thoughts
An after-lunch seminar combined with some previous reading about historic graffiti art ended up giving me this.
Graffiti
Another page that combines doodling from a notepad with the pages of my molie. My initials, a few random lines and shapes, all nestled in another splash of color in my pages. The doodles are in papermate mechanical pencil and the colors are all crayola colored pencils.
I learned to draw by drawing graffiti as a kid. I suggest you try it even if your not into the scene. understanding how to get the shapes and lines of a word to flow in a cohesive style helped me out alot when I moved on to drawing subjects outside of graffiti. all in pencil with a micron outline.
Graffiti in Maastricht: the same squatted and abandoned factory. I think they use the silver Citroen 2CV as a chickenshed. We call this car “lelijke eend”; that means ugly duck. If you ever drove it, you know why. http://www.renefijten.blogspot.com/
Graffiti: an abandoned factory on the riverbank near the Maastricht citycenter (Netherlands). http://www.renefijten.blogspot.com/
This was inspired by a kid who was into graffiti sitting next to me in my art class. I saw that he had all these arrows pointing in different directions so i figured i made my own version. i used dying markers.
