Scrollworks
Just messing around with spirals and spaces one evening in pencil.
This is commissioned piece, a little different. It is about a dentist, view from the mouth, and on the back funny tools : hummer, nails, glue, contact cement. I had fun doing that. Used my usual stuff: ink and Kuretake with help of Lamy Safari.
Wanted to show this awesome Moleskine pencil and pen I got from JetPens. You can attach it to the cover and it stays perfectly when you throw it in a bag or put it on your lap. Pencil comes with one refill and sharpener. 2B. It is rectangle shape and sits good in a hand. I put here, on my unfinished drawing I brought from Upstate, few Kuretake pens, I will use for touch of color, Dr. Martin’s inks I got in Woodstock, I will mix and play with when have more time, and my headphones for loud music not to disturb my sleeping family.

A quick study to test my new Staedtler colour fine liners and paper conditions of a Moleskine Cahier, in preparation for my Sketchbook 2012 project. The pens bleed a little on this paper, so you never get crisp results, but I have since found that the paper of the actual Sketchbook (which I have now received) is actually a little better, so I should be OK. I didn’t plan this one at all & didn’t spend too long on it either. Just wanted to have some fun.
Faber-Castell PITT Artist pens and Staedtler 0.3mm colour fine liners in 13x21cm Moleskine Cahier.
Didn’t have time to draw, so few scribbles and my new pencil Autopoint, old, of course, from Ebay. Takes 0.9 mm lead, 2 colors, blue and red.
