Micron 005 pens. I was goofing around to see how close I could space these lines with Pigma colored micron pens in ruled cross hatch lines. Later I just went free form, its more fun.

Continuing the theme of stylized skulls from a few days ago and then filling the background with free-hand vines and curls because I haven’t done them in a long time and I wanted some practice. I’m not quite sure what to make of the final result, but it was nice taking a few hours to get lost in a picture without worrying too much about where it was going or what the final result would be. Done with a black pilot G-2 pen and a papermate mechanical pencil.

I was spending a lazy evening with the family after Thanksgiving dinner and was inspired by the stylized skulls on my sister’s pajama pants. This was the result of just letting lines happen as they would. Done entirely with a black pilot G-2 pen.

This is just another organic, flowing checkerboard page which I decided to do after the first one came out so well. This one reminds me of the spatial distortions as Alice falls down the rabbit hole.
