Flame
An abstract construction in pen and pencil playing around in my pocket molie.
Candle in watercolor. It took a lot of black straight from the tube to get the background that dark but I had fun trying to get this one to glow. I still haven’t missed a day this year painting/drawing in my moleskine! See the first two months here… http://www.tnpaint.blogspot.com
Fire and Flame
The edge of a page turned into a leaping fire from phoenix feathers wrapped around from the previous page. Done with prismacolor and a pilot G-2 black pen.
we are no more than candles blowing in the wind. an old japanese proverb. the guy is from a clipping of a 1982 edition of national geographic. watercolors behind him.
