  We receieved a bag of hot peppers from a friend’s garden , we cleaned and stuffed over 20 and kept a few for me to draw. Pencil, graphites, Prismacolors, micro pen in my journal.

  Headed out to Bushwick Thursday night on the M train to install some drawings for Castle Braid exhibition. Woman on left’s ponytail struck me as cape cod flipped.

  This was a tin-fireplace designed by my late father in his village cottage which was raised to the ground during Bosnian war. Unlike me, he was a professional painter and designed the cottage and the fireplace all by himself. Some mechanical engineers doubted his method of desuign, but it wirked perfectly well. He had to redesign the mantelpiece because original one was much too open and therefore wood consumption far from economically viable. He added fireproof bricks (As seen in the sketch). Behind it there was a wall made from thin stone blocks. The cottage was made of wooden logs and I just might try to sketch that as well. If I do, I promiss to post it.
