Another page from my book. Just a big guy driving around. Drawn with tech pens and brush pens.

This is another page from my moleskine comic. Again this is drawn with a mixture of tech pens, brush pens and PIT’s. Oh and I also used that mechanical pencil that’s in the shot.

Resently I realized I’d lost track of my goal to draw my own comic. I’d got more involved in other drawing/painting projects. So I bought myself a small moleskine sketch book just for cartoons and comics. I thought the small size would make me draw less detail, but it turns out I really cant help it. This one is drawn with a ball point, pit pens and a pentel brush pen.

I was inspired by the colors in the Sunday comics, so decided to hack them up for this collage page. Faber-Castell Pitt pens were used for the lines.

I would like to show a commissioned work of some characters (in this case, Abe Sapien, Hellboy comics). Watercolor on Moleskine Sketchbook and then finalized in Photoshop.

Thinking about this artist, Pierre Alechinsky, and decided to try taking a similar structure to one of his paintings and seeing what I would create with such a structure. This is in my new extra large moleskine sketchbook. Seems like the paper holds up well with gouache.

Trying to think out the box. This is a Monday morning meeting sketch .

This is a new project I am starting with the company 500 Lines Media. I hope to have more to show soon.
