  This picture is the result of a long battle between a relative of mine and her husband, although well passed middle-age, they loved to hate each other, in fact they were consumed by each other. They could hurt each other deeply only to make up with passion. The cycle continued until his death, and she soon followed. So you’d have to read between the lines.

  I’m not going to bore you by uploading loads of these things, but this is the start of my learning to create Celtic knots for the background of a painting. I’d like to work out an incredibly detailed square knot, but you have to start with basics don’t you, so this is the first lesson.
  Done in a small squared Moleskine which came as a pack of three thin books. Ideal!
