This is a little bit late upload, but my internets been down for a while. its just things on my mind and in my life. on the left is “na inconvineint truth” because i had a presentation on it. and on the right is for Obama’s ennauguration. ( i did not draw the picture of obama its off the internet)
This was inspired by a kid who was into graffiti sitting next to me in my art class. I saw that he had all these arrows pointing in different directions so i figured i made my own version. i used dying markers.
I got a new moleskine! to be 100% honest, this is my first real one. I’ve been using a knock-off until now! embarrassing, I know.
anyway, this is a portrait of emily haines, my single favorite musician. she’s the singer for metric and also has her own solo projects. this was an experiment in colored pencil. I haven’t used it “for real” in a long long time. so long ago it doesn’t even count. I’m so happy it came out alright!
