The perfect cup
I want to do a series of people holding cups. I drew this while waiting for my daughter at her dance class.
latest updates: coffee
The perfect cup
Breakfast scene with BonJour french press coffee maker and cup of cereal with blueberries and almond milk, but mainly about joy of seeing each other in the morning and exchanging couple of sweet words. Ink and Kuretake.
Dunkin Donuts coffee really helps when you burned by brainstorming about mural’s composition, color range, researches, with very few hours of sleep every night, unable to decide whether you should make a pea soup for tonight and finish sketch in Sepia or grab a takeout and watch another episode of “Desperate Housewives”. Fellini likes to check what’s in the bag hoping for fried chicken, since he can’t smell and his vision is poor, he takes long time to inquire.
I used Sepia and 2 Kuretake brush pens on old paper.
Cup of coffee while waiting for the food in the Diner Upstate NY. Fat edged uncomfortable cups, weak coffee, but fun observing people, barely talking, just enjoying existence. Ink and Kuretake.
Dinner on my flight, and coffee the next morning in Vienna.
Gouache, ink, collage.

A crow. Drawn with a BIC 750R .7mm ballpoint pen. I like the challenge of trying to shade or do finer lines with it.
SE 26th & Clinton, Portland, Oregon. I drew this using a Bic 730R pen, and a single line. I took a few breaks, but I started where I stopped.
